A Taxonomy and Future Directions for Sustainable Cloud Computing: 360 Degree View

Cloud computing provides flexible, on-demand internet services that support many applications, and with the growth of IoT, cloud usage is rapidly increasing. To meet changing user needs, future cloud computing must focus on being more energy-efficient and sustainable. However, cloud providers face challenges as large data centers raise costs and carbon emissions, affecting sustainability. This paper reviews sustainable cloud computing techniques and organizes them into categories like energy management, cooling, and renewable energy use. It also proposes a model for sustainable cloud computing and suggests areas for future research.
